This Summer Workshop convenes DARPA-funded research teams, program officers, and Amazon science leaders to discuss the Exponentiating Mathematics (expMath) and Artificial Intelligence Quantified (AIQ) programs and surrounding topics. expMath is a multi-year initiative kicked off in 2026 to radically accelerate progress in pure mathematics by developing AI co-authors capable of proposing and proving useful abstractions, and translating between natural language proofs and formal language proofs. AIQ is a multi-year initiative kicked off in 2025 to create a mathematically rigorous theory of AI capabilities: what capabilities an AI system has, when they will or will not manifest, and why.
Hosted at Amazon's Seattle campus, this three-day workshop serves to identify applied problem areas where advances in AI-driven mathematical reasoning can directly strengthen Amazon's Automated Reasoning and Agentic AI capabilities — including code generation, formal verification, and development agents and foster collaboration between DARPA awardees, government stakeholders, and AWS scientists to surface innovation leads and accelerate the translation of foundational math-AI research into real-world impact.

Your confirmation email from the hotel will include cancellation policy details, including the date by which you may cancel your reservation if needed.
